Repair of Canopy Facing Robinson Road at ASO Building

The ASO building is a commercial property constructed in 1991 on Robinson Road in the Downtown Core district. Its existing terrazzo tiles canopy, situated 10m above the building entrance, showed signs of delamination due to aging.

In this instance, Fibrwrap Construction Pte Ltd was awarded to execute the repair and strengthening of the canopy structure using the TYFO^® Fibrwrap^® System. The repair proposal aligned with specified design requirements to enhance its structural integrity and durability.

To ensure a secure working environment at height, Fibrwrap Construction deployed qualified and competent personnel and utilized a boom lift as the working platform. In addition, operations were carried out during nighttime to alleviate congestion at the entrance under the canopy and guarantee the safety of building occupants.

The entire work was completed within the stipulated one-month timeframe.
