Spalled Concrete Repair Works to Existing Sembcorp Industries Tank in Jurong Island

Sembcorp is one of the leading renewable energy companies in Asia. Headquartered in Singapore, Sembcorp provides a full spectrum of waste management solutions at their plants in Jurong Island. To maintain a good quality of output, the tanks are kept in good condition, whereby a lot of maintenance is required.

Fibrwrap Construction Pte Ltd was awarded to do the spalled concrete rectification works within the tanks. The badly spalled concrete within the tanks was repaired and restored to enhance the durability and prolong the lifespan of the tanks.

The concrete repair works in the water tanks are considered confined space works as there is only a single opening for access in and out. Fibrwrap Construction successfully deployed competent and qualified personnel in the confined space works to carry out this project.

The project was completed successfully in six weeks.
